On the morning of Saturday, January 17, representatives from Yokogawa Votiva Solutions (YVS) embarked on a meaningful journey that combined community service with team bonding activities in Vung Tau.
Charity Visiting Mái Ấm Hồng Quang – A Place of Compassion
Our first stop was a charity visit to Mái Ấm Hồng Quang, a shelter quietly serving the community since 1999. The home currently provides care, protection, and education for more than 110 children who are orphaned, underprivileged, or living with developmental challenges. Each child carries a unique story, and all share a need for love, understanding, and long-term support.
During the visit, YVS representatives had the opportunity to personally deliver gifts and spend time with the children. Venerable Thien Thong, the abbot of the pagoda and director of the center, expressed his sincere gratitude to the YVS team for taking the time to visit, show care, and share kindness with the children.
Although our stay was brief, the moments we shared left a lasting impression. Innocent eyes, heartfelt smiles, and simple interactions created an atmosphere filled with warmth and genuine connection, reminding us of the power of giving and human empathy.
Short Trekking at Dinh Mountain – Reconnecting with Nature
Following the charity visit, the YVS team enjoyed a short trekking activity at Dinh Mountain. Surrounded by nature, the trek offered a refreshing change of pace and an opportunity for colleagues to relax, recharge, and strengthen team spirit outside of the workplace.
The combination of meaningful social contribution and light physical activity made the day both fulfilling and energizing, reinforcing the importance of balance between responsibility, wellbeing, and connection.
