ERP Account Manager
We are currently looking for an Account Manager to join our Yokogawa Votiva Solutions team!
Role Description
The ERP Account Manager (AM) is responsible for achieving all sales and revenue goals for an assigned territory by developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with customers and partners. The position will involve business development and deal making skills including strategic consulting and need assessment, identifying and driving new business opportunities, pricing negotiations, contract development, and working with internal Sales & Service Team to propose solutions to prospective clients. This position reports directly to Head of Sales.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective customers to meet sales and profit targets.
- Lead negotiations, coordinates complex decision-making process, and overcomes objections to capture new business opportunities.
- Develop and utilize marketing related events, seminars, mailings, and call campaigns to increase brand awareness and presence in the local market.
- Evaluate software contract spend and use in each organization to minimize spending, man-days, and implementation tactics.
- Develop strong knowledge of internal organizational dynamics and leading information technology trends.
- Provide timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue estimates that comply with allocated quotas.
- Provide leadership and licensing knowledge to the customers and maintain an appropriate presence in the software industry community.
- Organize meetings with key decision-makers to accelerate the sales process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration is PREFERRED.
- 3 years of professional sales experience in ERP systems or business consulting with software sales / software licensing is PREFERRED.
- Highly motivated and result oriented.
- Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Solid problem solving and consultative skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team sales environment with minimum supervision.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of English is a MUST.
